Out of 2,742 schools, Pleasant Valley was ranked the #2 elementary school in Pennsylvania by PA Future Ready! The PA Future Ready website takes into consideration measures such as standardized test scores and student attendance, among others. Congratulations to the hardworking PV teachers and staff.
This month, the US News and World Report released their annual ranking of Pennsylvania's best elementary schools. Out of nearly 3,000 schools, Bower Hill was named the #1 elementary school in Pennsylvania!
Rankings were based on the 2020-2021 PSSA data in mathematics and language arts.
For the second year, the Peters Township Federation of Teachers awarded a $2,500 scholarship to a deserving student that intends to pursue the field of education.The 2023 PTFT scholarship winner is Austin Malley.
